What is a Canola?

I have been baking a bunch lately, (tis the season), and I find that I am using a lot of oil. (at 14 grams of fat a tablespoon people!) I was reading the bottle to figure out what is in the 4000 grams of fat in my pumpkin bread and all it says is Canola. What is a Canola?
My mom read something about canola and warned me of its evils, and that it was from Canada. ooh scary! I thought she was on a crazy tangent about the evils of importing from Canada. I just looked it up and there is no such thing as a canola; it is a totally made up word! It is from Canada and is a genetically engineered rape seed oil something. Great! I am stuffing my face with genetically engineered rape oil. Merry Christmas to me!

I think from now on I am going to stop looking up my food online. Inevitably there is some horror story about how everything I consume is secretly engineered to kill me. I was much happier eating my Canadian oil before I knew what it was.

I am finally finished!

I made each little dolly a dress and some outer-wear. If my girls don't appreciate them I will be OUTRAGED, but not surprised. They seem to lack appreciation for anything I make them. It must be payback for the way I felt about the stuff my mom made me. (Carma--It can come back to bite you later)

Shhhh....These are my christmas secret

I have been slaving in my self made sweat shop over these little pretties for the last few weeks. I am so excited with how they are turning out. I still need to make them some clothes so the girlies can dress them, but that will be a treat. If the girls don't play with them I am going to put them under glass, until some deserving child comes along. If you want to craft some, come on over and I will show you the ropes!!

Are Leggings a form of pants?

(I look just like this in mine)

I was shopping today and bought a pair of leggings.

Now I am wondering if leggings are a form of tights, or are they more closely related to pants? I really need to know. I bought a sweater dress that is a little shorter than ideal, but I love it. I can't pair it with a skirt, it would ruin the look. And jeans would just make my bum huge. Leggings are the answer, unless they are tights and then I have a dilemma.

Tights are a decorative covering for your legs, they don't make up for the fact that your skirt is too short. I want me leggings to act in the same way as my pants, only cuter and more slimming.
I would never wear my tights without shielding the world from my derriere, and my "panty" line. I would apply the same courtesy if I were attired in leggings.

I am ready to rock my sweater and my leggings until I am so pregnant that the hem line creeps up my thigh.

(I guess if my leggings really are pants even that won't matter.)
