Today I let Ava vacuum. I told her that is was a special treat to get all the stuff from under the couch. She was thrilled at what she found under there. Now Julia needs to embrace the magic of loading the dishwasher.

Clever....I would hide change all over the house (or in the dishwasher) and tell her that the money is hers to keep, as long as she finds it while cleaning/loading/scrubbing/washing.
